A free hour in our Soho studio. You leave with an editable timeline, not a finished file.

We've built a tool called The Producer. It takes everything that happens after you stop recording — the media off the cameras and the desk, the syncing, the audio prep, the transcript, a first assembly, and the social clips found and rendered — and has it back with you the next morning.

It doesn't finish your show. It hands you a project that's already built, as a timeline you open in Resolve or Premiere, with every cut in it yours to change. Or review and approve the lot from a browser and send it on.

That groundwork is careful work and it has to be right, because everything after it depends on it. It's also the reason an episode recorded on Tuesday goes out a week on Thursday. We wanted that week back.

One free hour, in exchange for your honest opinion

Until 31 August we're opening The Producer to a small group of podcasters, producers and content creators.

You get a hour recording session at the studio in Soho, free apply and we'll send you a code that takes the £200 session to £0 at checkout. Your episode gets edited through the tool and delivered to you to review. One session per tester; more are on application.

What we ask

  • In return, beta testers agree to:

  • tell us honestly what works and what doesn't

  • credit The Dean Street Podcast Studio in the podcast credits and social posts

  • support a short case study about your use of the tool

  • let us use your podcast and content, once published, in our marketing

  • let us record behind the scenes during your session for our social channels

  • share the link with anyone you think would benefit

And not to:

  • disclose any technical or commercial discussions

  • abuse the opportunity — one free recording is standard, more on application
