the beta TERMS
AND CONDITIONS

BETA TERMS

These terms are between Morden Wolf Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 13049807), operator of The Dean Street Podcast Studio ("the Studio"), and you, the beta tester ("you"), and take effect when you accept them on the application form.

1. What this covers. You are being given early access to the Dean Street Studio Tool — including the producer web application, the deliveries and files you download from it, documentation, roadmaps, pricing discussions, and any other non-public information about the tool ("Confidential Information").

2. What you agree to. You will:

  • keep Confidential Information secret and not share it with anyone outside your own production team who does not also have beta access;

  • not disclose any technical or commercial discussions about the tool;

  • not publish screenshots, recordings, benchmarks, feature descriptions, or reviews of the tool anywhere public (including social media, blogs, newsletters, and podcasts) without the Studio's prior written permission;

  • not share your login or access links with anyone else;

  • use the tool only to evaluate it and give feedback, not to build a competing product;

  • not abuse the opportunity — one free recording is the standard allowance, and additional sessions are by application.

3. What this doesn't cover. Information that is already public (other than through a breach of these terms), that you already lawfully knew, or that you are required to disclose by law.

4. Feedback. You agree to give feedback freely and honestly, what works and what doesn't. Feedback, ideas, and suggestions you give during the beta may be used by the Studio freely and without payment or credit, including in the product itself.

5. Case studies, marketing, and behind-the-scenes. As part of the beta, except for anything you flagged as "unable to agree to" when you applied, you agree that:

  • you will support a case study about your use of the tool, for example providing quotes, results, or a short interview;

  • the Studio may use your podcast and content, once you have published it, for marketing purposes, for example naming your show, showing artwork, and using short excerpts of published episodes made with the tool;

  • the Studio may record behind-the-scenes material during your sessions for use on the Studio's social media channels.

Anything you flagged at application simply doesn't apply, flagging it does not affect your place in the beta. If your circumstances change (for example employer sign-off comes through), just tell us.

6. Crediting and sharing. Again except for anything you flagged at application, you agree to credit The Dean Street Podcast Studio in your podcast credits and in social posts about episodes made with the tool. We'd also ask you to share www.thedeanstreetpodcast.studio/beta with anyone you think would benefit from it.

7. Beta terms. Your beta includes one free 1-hour recording session at The Dean Street Podcast Studio, booked using the beta code you are given when you apply. The code covers one session, to be taken before 31 August 2026. Additional sessions are available on application, email beta@thedeanstreetpodcast.studio, and are at the Studio's discretion. The beta applies to 1-hour sessions only, a free beta session cannot be combined with paid studio time to create a longer booking (for example a 2- or 3-hour session), and beta access cannot be applied to longer bookings. The free session has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred. After your session, the Studio will send you a link to your show in the producer web application, that link is your access to the beta. Access is free during the testing phase, which ends on 31 August 2026 (the Studio may extend or end it earlier). The tool is provided as is, with no warranty; it may contain bugs, and the Studio is not liable for any loss of data or production time arising from its use. Keep copies of any recordings you care about. Access may be withdrawn at any time.

8. Duration. Your confidentiality obligations start when you accept these terms and continue until the Confidential Information becomes public through no fault of yours, or until the Studio releases you from them in writing, whichever is first. They survive the end of the beta.

9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By ticking the box on the application form, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Your name, email, and the date and time of acceptance will be recorded.
