How many people can record at once?
Up to 4 presenters can record at the table using our standard setup.
Are there any restrictions on attire, jewellery or props?
Yes, please do not have anything green on camera.
Can we have a live audience?
Yes - this can be arranged in advance for an additional fee. Audience capacity is up to 20 people.
What is the hourly rate?
Our standard recording rate is £200 + VAT per hour.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The studio has full wheelchair access, however, their isn't a separate disabled toilet.
Where can guests wait before a session?
Guests may use the public café on the ground floor. By arrangement, access to the private co-working space on the first floor is also possible. Private meeting rooms are also available on request.
What is the minimum booking time?
The minimum hire is 1 hour.
What microphones and headphones are included?
We provide four studio microphones as standard. Headphones are available on request when booking.
How many cameras are used?
There are three cameras:

1 wide camera filming in 4K

2 presenter cameras filming in 1080p (for one or two presenters)
Is lighting included?
Yes. Studio lighting is included and operated by our technician.
Can I bring my own equipment?
No. To maintain quality control, only studio equipment is used during sessions.
What recording format do you supply?

Native recordings are captured in ProRes LT.

Files are converted to H.264 for delivery to reduce file sizes.

Delivery is via WeTransfer, usually within 24 hours of full payment.

Video: REC709, H.264, 2x presenter cameras (1080p) plus 1 wide (4K).

Audio: supplied separately as a 14-track multitrack.

Video files include scratch audio for waveform syncing.

How long do you keep files?

Original media is retained until your WeTransfer download is confirmed, after which files may be overwritten.

WeTransfer download links remain live for 30 days.

If editing is requested, DaVinci Resolve Studio is used. Project files and media are retained for a minimum of 30 days after delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Do you offer editing services?
Yes. We provide packages from simple intro/outro trimming to advanced multi-camera edits and social-ready clips. Please enquire for details.
Do you offer livestreaming?
Not as part of a one-hour booking. Livestreaming options can be arranged—please enquire.
Can I record with remote guests?
Not included in standard one-hour bookings, but can be arranged on request.
Do you offer live editing during a session?
Not currently. Live edit functionality is in development.
Do I need to be technical?
No. A technician manages all equipment and recording during your session.
Can I tour the studio before booking?
Yes. Please contact us to arrange a tour.
How do I pay?

Studio-only bookings: payment card only (via our website).

Complex bookings (e.g. with additional services): please enquire for alternative payment options.
Do you require a deposit?
At booking, payment card details are held. These are used to charge for booked time, overruns, additional services, or damage.
Who owns the content?
You own all rights to your recordings once full payment has been received.
How secure is my content?

Original files are stored on-site.

Proxy files may be stored on secure cloud servers.

Delivery is via WeTransfer link.

More secure transfer methods can be arranged on request.
What type of content is not permitted?
Any content containing discriminatory or hateful material will be stopped and deleted without refund.
What happens if I cancel?

7+ days before session: full refund minus transaction fees.

6 days to 48 hours: no refund, but one free reschedule.

Less than 48 hours: no refund or reschedule.

We may amend this on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if the studio cancels?
If cancellation is caused by events beyond our control (force majeure), we are not liable but will offer rescheduling where possible.
What services do you offer beyond the studio hire?
We currently provide three tiers:

Curtain Raiser: simple self-serve studio booking. Digital set and logo included.

Spotlight: tailored sets, ad placement opportunities, technician + production support, proxy video/audio edit.

Headliner: full production service via our All is Pod production company, including development and launch support.
