FAQ
The Podcast Edit is audio first. We top and tail the recording so the intro and outro fade gently in and out, and we'll cut sections where needed, a fluffed pronunciation, say, or a drift off-topic.
Behind the scenes we also balance the speakers' audio, remove bangs, crashes and plosives where we can, and export at the correct loudness so it sits right on the podcast platforms, never too quiet or too loud.
On the video side, we cut between cameras to follow the speakers naturally, so it's ready for YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and the rest.
Think of it as an audio podcast that happens to have been filmed.
What it doesn't include is anything video first: lower thirds (the on-screen speaker names), music, reaction shots, stingers, titles, or the other elements that turn a recording into a "show".
That's where the Advanced Show Edit comes in. We add all of the above and more to make your show high impact and properly video first. It takes considerably more effort, for our editors and for you, so go in with that in mind if video first is the goal.
